  • CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE ADDER, Iraq - 1st Lt. Shelby Johnson, the executive officer of B Company, 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, plays a game of chess with a friend on Contingency Operating Base Adder May 3. Johnson has played the game for 26 years and will participate in this year's All Army Chess Championship.
