West Bank

The resolution of the ongoing dispute about the West Bank and Gaza Strip will likely depend on the outcome of peace negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian leaders. As the future of the Palestinian people arguably rests on what happens after peace becomes a reality, RAND has focused on and recommended policies for economic and infrastructure development in a post-peace era.

Policies aimed at undermining radicalization should include teaching parents how to discuss detrimental messages on social media, as well as building programs to strengthen families' influence on youth and ties to communities.
