Disaster Management & Resilience Program (DMR)

The Disaster Management and Resilience Program (DMR) assists the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the broader emergency management community in identifying strategies to mitigate, plan for, respond to, and recover from natural and human-caused disasters, hazards, and catastrophic incidents. This includes evaluating current incident and consequence management for natural disasters, such as fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and pandemics, as well as human-made threats, such as terrorist or cyber attacks, biological warfare, and radiological fallout.
